About me
👋🏻 Hey, I’m Sipos Miklos.
A university instructor / developer / graphic designer based in Budapest, Hungary.
University Instructor
I teach university students for programming both on basic and advanced level at Óbuda University John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics. This is mainly focused on C# language, but apart from this, I also teach about web fundamentals, important web languages and web security concepts. For details check my course list and keyword extraction about all the subjects I teach. I’m also guiding students in their thesis works. I was fortunate enough to receive a commendation from the Dean for the quality and amount of my work. More information (codes, videos etc.) can be found on my university website or on my GitHub profile.
Developer
I do freelance development mainly on web focused area, but I’m also available for desktop app development. On the web I’m familiar both with the newer concepts of using JS frameworks like Vue, and also with the older concepts of using PHP with HTML, CSS and JS. For CSS and HTML, if framework-like support is needed I mainly use Bootstrap, TailWind CSS and Sass preprocessor, depending on the project and my needs. For desktop – but thanks to ASP.NET, I’d say web as well – development needed, I’m highly skilled in C# language. I’m currently working on an updated references site, but until that check out my GitHub profile.
Graphic Designer
I started using Adobe’s Photoshop for photo manipulation as a hobby when I was younger. Years later I realised that I developed serious skills in this software which can be used to help others reach their target. Since this I’m available to create graphic works (eg. retouching, general photo manipulation, logo design, any Facebook / Instagram or other social image collages). I started a small business based on this, called GRAPHYSM. Feel free to check out my works on the website or on Instagram. For quick prototyping I started using Figma, and for vector based graphics Illustrator.
